Pola describes her work as:
"My sculptures are mainly of people and express my love and concern for them. I explore different media: clay, stone, glass and bronze. Each presents unique technical challenges but opens a variety of possibilities in form and texture to express my imagination. The emerging sculpture then becomes a very private collaboration with the medium. The results can be fascinating and exciting, sometimes quite different from the original concept."
